Buried Treasure

Ajouter une légende

I'm taking part of Seth Apter new collaboration project, Buried Treasure. Seth ask us to re-visit our work and share our favorite artwork. One of my fav is the below nest. It was very spontaneous work, done with heart and emotions only, playing with different textures and colors. Eventually, I love the fragility of it. I hope you'll like it as well.

Caché au creux des branches, recouvert de rosée du matin, il se soumet volontiers au regard du passant. Fragile comme une feuille d'automne, il contient en son coeur, mes secrets les plus intimes.

i cant work out what it's made from. but it's very lovely. the shades of colour are dreamy, and yes, that fragility is enchanting.

This is a beautiful piece. I'm thinking it is made from papier mache and wax .... or ceramic?

WOW, PLASTER strips and beeswax to make such a delicate and fragile treasure of a nest. How beautiful. Thinking of the fragility of life coupled with the cushioning protection of the nest- how beautifully soulful.

This is absolutely lovely! I would love to see it in real life. The crumbling fragility, the colour, the textures...just perfect!
